The Mission
The Local Association of Computing Machinery at Ohio Northern University (ACM@ONU) is the organization for those with a passion for all things Tech! The organization's goal is to have a place for like minded students to gather together to learn about various forms of technology, through workshops, guest speaker events, local challenges, competitions, and more. We not only attend events like this but also host events like this, and we welcome all to join, Comp Sci or otherwise. While we do encourage ACM organization membership we do not require it for the majority of our activities.

The 2019 - 2020 Council
For more information on the 2019 - 2020 Council, check out the Council section of the site for a description of your student representatives, who knows, you may learn something about them you may have not known. On that page you can also find the contact information for each Council member. If you would like to reach out, they’re always happy to help members whenever they can. Interested in becoming a member of the council for the 2020-2021 academic year? Find the poll registration form and fill out the required fields at the bottom of the page. Then the registered candidates will be voted on at the end of the 2019 - 2020 academic year.
Are you in the Member Archive?
In an effort to create a digital member archive of ACM@ONU members we’ve created a small database section to store the names, photos, and descriptions of past and present members, which will someday act as an alumni yearbook. If you are interested in leaving your mark on ACM@ONU history, then add yourself to the archive section of the site.

ACM@ONU is always striving to put on a large diverse selection of events to cater to the needs of its members. Believe it or not, coming to our events is a great way to support us! The more people we have attend, who are interested in what we are doing, the easier it is to get approval for future events and partner with sponsors.
